Finland’s largest wind power plant has recently been the western coastal city of Pori in Finland, was completed and formally put into operation.
The wind power plant financed by the Finnish energy company St1 to build, using the Finnish WinWind produced by wind turbines, the annual generating capacity of up to 8000MW.h. This is Finland, the highest wind power plants, wind generator sets installed in the ground from the 100m height.
In recent years, Finland attaches great importance to the use of renewable energy, and actively nurture and development of wind power. The end of 2008, Finland has built 118 wind farms. According to the Finnish government’s energy strategy to 2020, Finland will build a 700 average installed capacity of 3MW wind power plant.
