Qinghai observation network of 12 wind energy resources through on-site inspection before construction projects, which marked changes in the Qinghai Plateau to real-time monitoring of wind energy.
It is understood that wind energy resources in Qinghai Province observation network consists of 12 wind towers, including one two 100-meter wind towers, 10 70 m wind towers, four states involved in Qinghai province, prefectures, covering Qinghai 5 wind energy resource-rich areas to achieve real-time wind data collection and data upload.

Wind energy is a clean, renewable energy. Development of  wind power is conducive to protecting the ecological balance, reduce pollution, conserve fossil energy, and its short construction period, installed capacity and flexible, taking up less land. The completion of wind energy resources observation network will master the Qinghai Plateau state wind energy resources and distribution of scientific planning of wind power industry development, good running and management of wind power, wind turbine generators resources to improve the evaluation of the design of wind farm construction to provide the level of Science Service.
