Chaozhou City, the construction of new energy industries have made substantive progress. Reporter yesterday from Chaozhou City Development and Reform Bureau was informed that the provincial Development and Reform Commission agreed on the 13 approved Raoping the courtyard, the city to build two two-level 50,000 kilowatts of wind power projects with total investment of 974 million yuan.

According to Provincial Development and Reform Commission’s approval, Raoping the courtyard of wind power project investment amounted to 478 million yuan, the total installed capacity of 49.9MW, installed capacity of 14 sets of single 1500KW wind turbine and 34 units a unit capacity of 850KW wind turbines, Localization of equipment used in all units. Wind power project by the city invested 496 million yuan, the total installed capacity of 49.55MW, installation of 20 sets of unit capacity of 1500KW wind turbine and 23 units a unit capacity of 850KW wind turbines, unit has all the equipment used domestically.
It is estimated that the two wind farm put into operation, it can be to provide clean electricity for the city of about 197.02 million kwh, 68,000 tons of standard coal can be saved, decreased carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide emissions of about 142,000 tons and 0.5 tons, will be greatly facilitate the work of the development of energy conservation in our city.
