French wind power reached 5% of national consumption
French Renewable Energy Union (SER) and the French Wind Energy Association (FEE) released the same day the French power network (RTE) data show that, as of November 11, 2010, the French national electricity consumption of 5% wind power.

According to statistics, as of September 2010, the French wind turbine generator installed capacity of 5200 MW. In accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Protection Law of France, 2020, the French wind power installed capacity will reach 25000 MW, the proportion of electricity consumption in the country will be further enhanced.
