The turbines will be installed at six wind farms in the Chinese provinces
Spanish wind turbine manufacturer Gamesa has finalized a deal to deliver turbines with a total capacity of 300MW to China Resources New Energy Group (CRP Renewable), a subsidiary of China Resources Power (CRP).
The turbines will be installed at six wind farms in the Chinese provinces of Heilongjiang, Shanxi and Guangdong.
The company will supply 150 units of its G90-2MW small wind turbine to CRP in the second half of this year.
CRP Renewable is now constructing wind projects with a total generating capacity of 631MW and the company has government approval for projects representing another 970MW.
Last month, Gamesa signed three memoranda of understanding with Chinese companies Longyuan, CRP and Datang to supply 900MW of wind turbines.
